Kristen Kremin Baumgarten (my niece) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis early this year. My other niece Whitney Muir had an idea to raise money for MS and to let Kristen know that we love her. The team raised over $400 dollars and 100% of it went to support MS research. They ran a 10k (6.2 miles) in a mud/army obstacle style race out at the Miller Motor Sports Park in Tooele.
The team name was Kristen Krazy's. Team members are Raquel Bell, Whitney Muir (team captain) and Robyne Oostveen a friend of Raquel's. They finished in 1 hour 44 minutes. They did great job and my hands go out to them for raising the money and doing the race. It was hard and hot that day.
