Today was our big touring day and we decided to go to Gettysburg. It is only about a hour from the kids house so off we went. First we hit the covered bridges road. We had 4 on our list but we only found 2 and we were a bit disappointed but still happy to see them. So here we go!
Inside!
Bridge 2 yeah we thought it was a OLD bridge and it was about in the 1940's .
We then went to Gettysburg and we hit the National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. These are some pictures of a painting done in 1884 and it is 40 feet tall and 380 feet long. It is a Cyclorama painting. it was in a BIG round room. They had music and told the story of the last day of fighting at Gettysburg. It was AWESOME!
We walked to the Soldiers national Cemetery. It has some of the men from the battle buried there most of the men buried there are from other wars since 1863. It was a BIG place.
This baby loves speed! look at that face.
One of the battle fields
Cannon replica!
There was so much to see and do that now we know we need to go a stay the night and make it a two day trip. It was fun and the colors were starting to show. Very Beautiful!

Looks like you are having a nice time and making great memories. Caroline was born loving speed through her genes. . .Papa Dan loves speed and so does Cami--especially on their bikes, the faster the better! Ha!
