This is a part of our experience in this world to be born, live and then die. We all know this is the plan and that we HAVE to go through it. What we don't know is, when we will die. God knows and he is aware of our lives and what we need most. I went with Raquel and Matt to church today and a Elder gave a mission report. Elder Dalton! He went to Denmark. He gave a great report and used a talk by Elder Enzio Busche (who I love). It is called "Unleashing the Dormant Spirit. He gave it May 14, 1996 BYU devotional. Here is a quote that the Elder used today about death. This young man's mother has passed away and you could feel that this quote touched him deeply.
"When we are compelled to give up something or when things that are dear to us are withdrawn from us, know that this is your lesson to be learned right now. But know also that, as you are learning this lesson God wants to give you something better."
I found peace in the statement and found the talk to study this week.
