Haven Ward

Raquel and Matt come out on June 26th with their ward from SLC. It was a great weekend. I truly loved being with the kids and leaders and watching them work together and serve and play. It was a joy for us to serve them as well. They stay at our home. Girls -inside. Boys - outside. We had a nice dinner on Friday night after the Temple.

1st they went to the Vernal Temple were they meet Brother and Sister Anfinson who told them all about the Vernal Temple. They told stories who how it was built and how the Lord has his hand in it from the start.
There were a few youth who couldn't go in the temple so we took them to the DUP museum and they cleaned. It is right across from the Temple. Matt and Raquel went with me and 6 youth. Some of the kids weren't members and so didn't have the Priesthood yet.

Lisa Migliori is the president of the DUP (daughters of the Utah Pioneers) and also so in our ward. She came down and meet us there. We cleaned had a tour and then they took the flag down. It was awesome! Some of the youth are Refugees from The Congo, and Karen.

They were all very nice kids and worked hard.

Then after all the WORK they got to play. They floated the river the next day from Flaming Gorge to Little Hole. They ALL loved it and had a wonderful time.
