March 1 and 2nd we went to Moab to meet Mari and Anthony Chavez. They are our good friends from Farmington, New Mexico. I spent most of my growing up years in Farmington. Mari is one if not my oldest and dearest friend. We meet in the 2nd grade and have been friend ever since.
We meet them on Friday night. Anthony had found us a great deal at the Rim Village here in Moab. It was wonderful. If your going that way check out the link. We eat out each evening and hiked the Canyonlands park on Saturday. We went to Dead Horse Point and all the over looks at Canyonlands. So worth it!! Enjoy the pictures. The La Sal Mountain are the snow caps in the back ground. So AWESOME!! The views were so great. The weather was 50 to 60 degrees. We even had a picnic. We needed the sun.
