Hillsdale Michigan WHY??

Established in 1839 and chartered in 1869, the City of Hillsdale is located in the rolling, fertile hills of South Central Michigan, bordering Indiana and Ohio. In 2011 they announced that they were opening the "Graduate School of Statesmanship", offering a M.A. and PhD in Politics. Hillsdale College has a branch in Washington D.C. and they often do free seminars about the Constitution, the role of Government, etc. Matt would go to some of these seminars after work and became very interested in the college. He applied in January was accept in Feb.
Not only was Matthew accepted but was also offered an amazing scholarship! They are excited to get out of the city and move to a very small town. The population is only about 8,000 and the student body is right around 1,400. It takes no federal or state taxpayer subsidies for any of its operations. School starts at the end of August so they will be moving when the baby is only about a month old. We are excited for them.
