Birthday's they just keeping better!

 Waking up on your birthday to these two faces was the best gift a grandma could have. Each year my birthday just gets better. What more could a lady ask for? 

Raquel planned for us to go to Shipshewana, Indiana. It is known for Amish life style. We went to Menno Hof a Mennonite visitors center. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about the Anabaptists (Mennonites, Huttrites and Amish). They are Christlike people who are peaceful and serve God. They want to worship and to be left alone to raise their families. I have seen movies about the Amish but until you really see them in their buggies it didn't seem real to me. It is real and they really live without, electricity,  indoor plumbing, cars, phones, TV, cell phones, computers. It is amazing how committed they are to live Gods commandments. 

Then it was birthday party time. Caroline knew it was her birthday. She was so cute and we had such a good time, dinner, opening gifts, having a treat. It was the best evening ever. Then our men when off to Priesthood session and the girls and Harmon had a girl party with laughing and more food. Thank you family for the BEST birthday ever!!
