Girl Party!

Joleen and her friend Alyssa meet me at Raquel's in DC for a few days of sight seeing over their spring break. It was a lot of fun to be with the girls.

Off to Mount Vernon was our first adventure for this trip. I know I already went but Joleen hadn't been and I really think it is a must for everyone who visits Washington DC.

This little girl in the middle was a good girl the WHOLE 3 days that we ran around like chickens.
The Potomac is the river behind us. We are standing on the lawn of the Mt Vernon home of George and Martha Washington.
George and Martha Washington's grave sites. This docent was showing us the flag that General Washington made himself and carried everyone where he went. As time went on he carried it EVERYWHERE to let people and his troops know he was coming. It is blue in color with white stars Representing the 13 colonies. They had the original flag in the museum.
Miss Caroline loved the baby pigs. They had a bunch of piglets. They were pretty cute.
 Here is their back sides.
It was 82 degrees with 80 percent humidity.
Here is our little queen of the day. She wanted out of the stroller when we were in the  museum and she was so good just  looking but not touching thing. She was saying CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!
