The Hofman's are good friends from Switzerland. They were a couple in Joleen's ward who took her under their wing and loved and cared for her. This little man on the front of the 4-wheeler was only 9 months old when Joleen was there. This Dave and Aaron on the 4-wheeler. They loved to drive it!
Mark and Tanner and Joleen (yes they named their little girl after Jo). They were such cute kids. They only speak German so it was a little hard to know what they wanted at times. We loved having them with us for 2 days.
It was really cold while they were here but we did all we could. We went to the Temple grounds and took a few pictures. Dave with Aaron 8yrs Joleen 5 yrs Sabina and Tanner 3 yrs
We spent a hour or so at Wal-Mart. The kids wanted something on every isle and Dave took a picture of this face and asked us how we could resist it??? HAHHA!
Here we are the morning they left. It was so fun.
Mark took them to the Simplot Mine and they saw the big trucks, They went shooting guns, a trip to the Dinosaur Museum. Of course we spent a hour at the Dollar store. All so new to the kids.
