Finding Joy in grandchildren

Fernie 21/2 Caroline 5 yrs and Harmon 3 yrs. Hillsdale Michigan. April 2016

Finding Joy-In MIchigan.

I love going to see my babies. They are my world. If you can be IN LOVE with your grandchildren, I AM! I had the best time on my trip. I went for Raquel’s birthday March 22nd. I stayed 10 days. It was so much fun.
The first night I was there their ward had a serve auction. They had great food and lots of good people. Fernie loved the floor.
We played lots of games inside as it was very cold while I was there.  We played in the play house. We watched movies, read books, rode bikes, found flowers and bugs.  Caroline was always winning checkers. Buddy did great on the matching game.
We went bowling two times. They have a nice bowling alley with a great grill with good food. Saying good bye is always hard. I will see them soon. They are coming for the month of July. HOORAY!!

Bye Bye grammy!

Finding Joy-In Culture-Vernal has it!!!!!!!!

Alex Boye was in Vernal February 27th for a concert.  It was more of a variety show. He was funny and entertaining. It was at our new conference center. The sound system was good. It was a sold out crowd. I went with my friend Paulette Helm.
It was the UBOC spring concert this weekend. That means my good friend Carla Cleavinger was coming to town to sing in the choir.  Before the concert we had a little luncheon at my house with Connie and Gail. It was a wonderful visit. Love these ladies like sisters.

I LOVE WALKING WITH MY HUBBY! This was Sunday morning. So beautiful!

Finding Joy In Life and Death!

Veva Anderson Harmon
born February 20th 1931-died February 10th 2016
Veva is Matt's grandma (our son in law). She was a charming, sweet, kind, funny lady.
We had the privilege of attending her funeral this week. It was a very nice tribute to her. Dell (grandpa) is going to miss her so. He has Macula Degeneration and has been losing his sight for years. She did all the driving, cleaning, shopping, reading and most everything around the house. Most of her 6 children spoke at the funeral. It was so very nice. I could see Matt in his uncles. I am so happy that Connie always invited us to be a part of their family gatherings.
