Uintah County Fair 2014. The head liner band was the Charlie Daniels Band. He is famous for the fiddle song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". This man is 78 years old and he could still play a guitar, fiddle and sing. He had a stroke a few years ago and didn't think he would preform again but it was a great show. Jake Collett my cousin was here managing his band "The Charlie Jenkin's Band". He called me and said he had gotten me tickets for the Daniel's band and come to find out someone had taken our tickets. So we got the best seat in the house side stage, up close and personal. It was a great date night.
Next night Charlie Jenkin's was the head liner and his show was so great. Better then the night before. Charlie is a great entertainer. As you can see he came in the stands and talked and teased people. Lance and his family came as well as Mom and dad.
Then night 3 of the fair we all went to the "Alive after Five" talent show. It is Vernal's version of American Idle. It was fun but not as good as the pro's the days before. LOL! Good clean fun in Vernal Utah.
My garden is growing like a weed. I LOVE IT!!
