God's Hand # 44 week before Christmas 2013

 It is the end of the year and we always end it with Christmas Holiday together with our kids. This year we all went to Hillsdale Michigan for the big event. We fly in there in the 18^th and home on the 26^th. I wanted to open gifts each day so we could enjoy the gifts together.  We had movies to watch and games to play and no time after the BIG day. Christmas is so commercialized and I wanted to think of Christ and remember him and all he did for us. I’m not very good at this but did try to keep him in my thoughts. We had so many blessings with this year’s event. We always find someone to serve but this year we were served by so many wonderful family and friends.
   1.    Many people knew about Raquel’s trip to the IUC unit in Jackson, MI. after having the baby. They knew that the medical bills would be large. We had many people show up and give us money for the kids and asked us to give it to them. We had a Christmas Jar giving to us. If you don't  know the story see it here.I was over whelmed with emotions and gratitude. I didn’t feel worthy of their love and support. This was a hard lesson for me to learn but I did accept it and passed it on the Matt and Raquel. They too felt over whelmed and felt someone else could use it more. They are so THANKFUL for everyone’s generosity. It was all giving anonymous, so they don’t know who to thank. But you all know who you are and they want to say THANK YOU from the bottoms of their hearts.

2.       We all wanted to do a few items together. Joleen wanted a Christmas Party, 1^st annual Kremin Christmas Classic. We played "minute to win it" See pictures below. Ginger Bread houses were one night. Raquel wanted family movie night. We saw Frozen, cute movie. Harmon was frozen on Marks lap for the 1^st hour of the movie and never moved. He then set in every seat in the theater as we were the ONLY ones at the movie. After the movie was over we all went to the front of the theater and danced to the credits. SO FUN! I wanted a girl’s day out. We got it as we had to take Raquel to a doctor’s appointment in Jackson. We shopped and had lunch out. Mark and Matt stayed with the kiddos and we took Fern with us. Mark wanted to see the Christmas lights around town. Matt wanted to take treats to his home teaching families. All was accomplished and with great fun. We ate good food. 

3rd. Have a new baby is always fun. Fern was a joy. She was a good baby but doesn't have her sleep pattern down yet. She was held 24/7. Sorry Raquel!

 My friend April made Super Hero Capes for C and H. They were a hit and were giving out the first day. Best gift we gave them. 

 Everyone got new church clothes for Christmas Sunday. Matt surprised me as he sang in the ward Christmas program. He has a great voice and I loved it. One of the best gifts I got. Thanks

Jo gave Harmon a basketball banker. He is learning!

 Grandpa was a big hit with the honey do list. Harmon wanted to help with the dishwasher as it is his favorite place to get into. He was so cute.

Caroline loves to dress up.

We had a grandparent date on day. We shopped and had lunch out. They love this car. Yes I cleaned it VERY good before letting them drive. 

C-at Frozen-she loved the movie.

 We played games almost every night. Matt almost always wins but this night Jo was the winner!
