1. BIRTHDAY'S My dad Chuck turned 80 on the 6th of August. He and mom planned a BIG party for all his family and grandchildren to be here. It was a BIG hit! They had a good turn out. We had a small party at our house on the 6th. We invited out FHE group and the Sampson kiddos came. FUNNY story mom gave me a box after Christmas and asked me if I would keep it until Dad's birthday. It was wrapped and I didn't know what was in it. Well the dad came and mom couldn't remember either. We were all surprised when dad opened the Vernal Temple scale. It is BEAUTIFUL!
2. It was Trails birthday. He turned 6 years old. We have now been to every birthday he has had. You can't really see it but we gave him a deer and a fawn. When he opened it he looked so happy and said "it is a white tail deer and a calf". I guess he knows his animals. It was pretty cute. He also got boots and a bike.
A few days later was Brielle's 4th birthday. She is shy and a bit reserved. She got an America Doll for her birthday and we gave her some Minnie puzzles. She is a doll!
3. Matt and Raquel have been in SLC for the last two week at his parents home. His sister Alyssa got married on August 15th. We got the spend Friday, their last day here together with the Bell family. We had a picnic at Liberty Park. we also went on the rides there and played in the water. There is a little water park that is free and it is fun. Perfect for toddlers. We were in heaven just holding and hugging our babes. It was hard to say good-bye. We meet them the next day at the airport @ 6 am. They had a 7:30 am flight.
