Patti's Stay


Patti's visit was the BEST visit so far. We talked about  how much we both loved this visit and how we learned so much about each other and how much we are a like in  many ways. Enjoy the pictures. Love ya sis, thank you for taking the time and money to be here with all of us.

 We started at the Dinosaur National Quarry. They loved all the bones. If you haven't seen the new Quarry it is a must see for this summer fun. 
 The museum is also GREAT. Watch the video, very good info.

 Patti and Ron both loved the Utah field History Museum  in down town Vernal. They have a great children's area so don't miss it. It is a little pricey but worth it. It also has a GREAT film about the area start there and go through the whole museum and then outside to see the REAL thing. 

 We made our way to see Dad and take him some flowers. It was a crazy windy day.

 It was Mom's birthday so we had a family dinner on Sunday and here is the WHOLE crew. They biggest crowd I have EVER had at a set down dinner before. We had steak, potatoes, grilled veggies. and Birthday cake. Mom turned 76.

 On Monday we made our way to Harper's Corner. It was a great day. we had a picnic and saw so much wonderful sites on top of Dinosaur Hunting. 

 The views were great.
 Here are the wild hunters who finally got their man. Ron was a bit scared. JK!!

We drove up to Jarvie Ranch and had a picnic. It was so much fun. Mike told us about our grandfather homesteading in this area. Later Post!

After lunch we took off to see the hanging bridge. I walked!!
Mike and his clan came with us. 
I took this picture looking off the bridge to the north. It was  cloudy and raining day but beautiful. 

Crouse canyon. It was so beautiful. It looked like chocolate, EVERYWHERE! 
Sunday we took a ride up dry fork canyon. Here is the flag at Merkley Park.

 Ron and Patti after a long day of cooking. They made homemade pizza for all of us for FHE. It was great!

 To end our 2 weeks we had pedicures. It was Patti's first time. Doesn't she look happy?
