Jena's Wedding day

They are young and YES they haven't had much experience in this world but yesterday was a great day at the SLC Temple with Jena and Austin. Brother Richards married them and here is a little of

the advise he gave them!

Bro. Richards had four items he wanted to talk about.

1. Prayer this is pretty standard statement but he also added that he if we want to talk to God we pray and if want God to talk to us we read our scriptures.Which lead to #2. Read your scriptures together each day EVEN if it is but a few minutes. 3rd. Attend the the Temple on a regular basis. He invited them to enjoy all the blessings of the Temple in all the ordinances. Do them all as you attend. It is a cheap date. (lots of laughs) 4th bear testimony to each other often. Let your mate know you have a testimony. He promised that if they did all of this they would have Christ as a partner in their marriage and great things would come to them.

He also told them how to treat each other. He told Austin to treat her as a queen with respect and NEVER treat her any other way. He told her to treat Austin as a King ALWAYS give him praise because he (Bro Richards) thinks that men are just little boys in a big body. It was cute. He quotes word for word D&C 121:41. it was so AWESOME!

We learned so much and recommitted to each other to be better, after 32 years.
