The Mighty Hunters!

Mark went on a friends Elk hunt in New Mexico last week. They rode about 75 miles in 5 days.

They ran into 9 bears in 2 days and ended up with a nice Bull Elk.

Here is a picture of Marks horse Sargent. He is a 3 year old gelding.
Here is a big boar bear that was sitting above their horses as we were off hunting.

This is the only way to carry elk 7 plus miles. Sargent on the left, Spirit in the middle, and Yeller on the right. The other one in the middle is not a bear. :)

Here is Antony Chavez and his elk. He was pretty happy.
