Mieke and Maurice were married on July 6th 2012 in Amsterdam, Holland. They were married at a small home Frandkendael . They had 60 friends and family at their wedding party.
They seem very happy together. we have not meet Maurice yet but we will someday. We love hi because Mieke loves him. We are not sure about her riding in the cart but it must be some tradition.
Mieke and her dad Pete. we have meet Pete and Francien many times and love our friendship we have together. We still write each other and stay in contact.
Maurice and Mieke had Ivo back in January 2012. He was party of the wedding as well.
Mieke came to us after being assigned to another family here in Vernal. Things didn't work out there and so she came to stay with us and we are happy we got her. She was a joy to have around. Her and Daniela were friends and school and it was Daniela idea to have her stay with us and after a family meeting we decided we could do it. So in 1998 and 1999 we had both girls live with us for the school year. It has made us ALL long time friends now and for eternity. Love ya
