Cabo-Mexico 2010

For Christmas we told our children we wanted to go on a trip somewhere for their gift. We ask them to pay for their airfare and we would pay the rest. We looked at many places and decided on Mexico (after much thought). So here is the story in pictures. We are here at the airport waiting for our flight. We were 2 hours early and waited 2 hours!!
Joleen reading and waiting!
Last minute calls for work are Matt and Raquel's deal!
We got to Mexico by early afternoon and first thing there they gave us mixed drinks. LOL! We declined after a taste. Mark said I think they are virgin! HAHHA They weren't!
We were the STRANGE American family who played lots of games and never drank!! They did offer us all the water we could drink. We stayed at a All inclusive Resort in Cabo.
First thing we did was eat dinner. The food was GREAT! So were the people who served us. Hence the man in the back ground!
Right after dinner we took a walk to the beach and did some exploring. Here is Raquel a bit wet after a wave got us. See below
It was great!

Next day we did a lot of this-reading-sleeping-swimming!

In the afternoon we rented jet ski's. Mark and Matt and Joleen rode around for a hour in the ocean. They loved it. Raquel and I set and watched.

Tim told us about a place called Edith's that was great food. And it was so great. It was the only meal we ate out of the resort. It was worth every penny. Tim paid for it! Thank you!
Banana Flam bay! Misspelled!
This kid doing this was great and very cute.
Here we are at Edith's after the big snorkeling cruise.
It was cute place.
Riu Santa Fe-Resort
Great thing about this time of year. NO one was there for the first 3 days. The weekend got a bit busy but we still didn't have much problems with crowds. Loved this pool

This resort was very clean and nice.
The sunrise and sunsets were so beautiful!
This is on our resort. It was about a 1/4 mile from our room. All the walk ways were so clean and nice. The beach was very well taken care. You couldn't swim here but it was nice

As I said be for the food was great. Here are our servers. We had the same ones each day and they were very nice. Did I tell you the food was great! LOL
We had a great day snorkeling. We all went and saw fish, a snake. We saw maniray fish jumping up to get bugs. it was pretty cool.

This looks like a pool but it is the ocean! So pretty
This called the Arch! It is in the Cabo bay. Just to the left of this is the very tip of the Baja of Mexico. It was pretty cool. Look at the sail boat! I took this picture!

The boat hands keep trying to give us mixed drinks but we wouldn't take them. They took this picture with their camera and wanted to sale it to us. We had a guy on the boat take on with our camera. Aren't we cute!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is Mark and Raquel on her LONG awaited kayaking trip. The boat had some kayak's and let people use them in the bay area. She loved it!
Great family shot!

Big Fishing trip. Mark was so excited for this day. It started out so nice!
Here is the sun rise from the boat.
Matt looking so happy and excited. Joleen was the photographer.

Well the fun didn't last long. Matt and Joleen got real sick. After a few hours Mark brought them home. Poor guy. He was worse then Joleen. He took a few hour nap and was good to go.
Matt had to go home the next day. We all stayed another day. We set by the pool eat MORE chips and pico . It was AWESOME! Played more cards!
Flew home to 50 degrees.
Loved it!!
