Mieke and baby!

Ivo van Oostrom came into this world on January 28th in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Parents Mieke Pelger and Maurice van Oostrom. 

Mieke was our exchange student from The Netherlands in 1998 and 1999. She was a joy to have in our home and we still keep in touch with her. 

She became a mom this week and I wanted to post about the event.

 Here is the quilt Raquel made for Mieke and I had it quilted with the blue minky. Oh it was so cute.
